Audio recordings of Sunday sermons, worship sets and other Bible based audio content.
Podcasts are the best way to keep up to date with the latest audio and video from FEFC.
What is a podcast?
A podcast is a lot like a subscription to a magazine. When you subscribe, all audio and/or video content on this site will automatically be sent to your computer. You can then view or listen to these files right on your computer without logging onto the FEFC website. These files can also be transfered to you iPod or any other mp3 player. Below we show you how to manage your FEFC podcasts from iTunes.
Install iTunes
iTunes is a free music program from Apple Inc., and is also a very popular podcast program. iTunes is available directly from Apple's website. It is free and is available for both Mac and PC.
Subscribe
FEFC currently offers two podcasts. We have an audio feed that will provide you will all of the audio content on our site. This includes the sermons, worship sets and any additional content that is audio only. The second is a video podcast that will provide you will all of the video content on our site. Click on the one of the links below or in the right hand column to open the desired podcast in iTunes.![]()
Once iTunes has opened the podcast profile, click on the "SUBSCRIBE" button to subscribe to the podcast.
Download
As soon as you've successfully subscribed, the latest message will automatically begin downloading in your "Podcasts" tab in iTunes. You will also see the previous 9 items in the Podcast listed in grey. You can access them by pressing the "GET" button. To listen or view a podcast once it has been downloaded, simply double click the message or select it and then press the play button.
SYNC
Before syncing with your iPod, you must ensure you have the latest iPod software installed on the iPod. Visit Apple's iPod software page to download it. This makes it so your iPod can transfer and understand the podcast and list it correctly.
After you have updated your iPod, make sure it is plugged in and listed in iTunes in the Sources pane. If iTunes does not automatically sync the podcasts, go to the File menu and select "Update iPod" to manually sync. The new message (podcast) will be listed under the "Podcast" menu on your iPod (Music > Podcasts).
You can change your preferences (the way podcasts are updated on your iPod) by pressing the "settings" button. The Podcast preference window appears -- now press the "iPod Preferences" button. You may choose to only have certain podcasts synced, or select how are synced (for example, you may only want the messages you haven't listened to do be synced).
